Hey i was woundering how much meele would i need to kill a boar with a ql 30 soilders sword

That depends on the level of the boar.

Very roughly speaking to kill a level 6 boar you need 70 in melee. To kill a level 3 boar you need 40. To kill a level 10 you would want 110 in melee.

You can kill a level 3 boar with just a 30 in melee but at that point you don't have an easy combat advantage, so if he attacks you first and grabs combat advantage and if you fumble any of your hits you have a fair chance of ending up in a pool of blood watching x's.

If you are using melee make sure you have a shield and that your default defense is set to shield so that you actually use it. Any kind of armor, even bad armor will increase your advantage against the boar too.
