How do I keep bears off of my land?

Postby LordOfTime » Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:21 pm

I know it says in the wiki that construction signs won't stop a bear, will a roundpole fence?, such as the one around my property.
If ignorance were bliss, then why aren't there more happy people in the world?

No. You need a palisade.

Also claim it. Animals don't spawn on claimed land.

Actually, if the bear isn't already attacking someone, won't signs and fences keep the bear from seeing them? It won't save you once the mauling starts, but it should prevent it if you don't go outside while the bear's there.

Or do bears wander through fences even in non-combat mode?
