Game Sounds

I just started in this game... I can't hear any sounds at all, even when I turn them on. Yet, the preview has music... Is there anything special about getting the sound to work, or is there sound in this game? I run another game using the Java client (Wurm), so I am sure my JVM is not the issue.

But seriously, this game doesn't really play any background music, unless you sit down or go inside a house.

... or go into a cave, go fishing, or use a milestone.

That's all the background music I can think of offhand. I've noticed occasionally the client will just give up on sounds (tree chopping, combat, etc). until it's restarted, too.
