Best way to find my friend?

I am having a really hard time finding my friend. What is the best way to find him?

One of you makes a new character and spawns at the others hearth secret.

If neither of you want to part with your characters, kin each other per hearth secret, form a party, and click the question mark at the top-left of the screen to walk in the direction of your friend. If you two are at opposide sides of the world, though, expect the trip to take a few hours.

Just in luck...he died >< (luck....well kinda lol)

So how do I do that?

At character creation, he should inherit the runestone on the left side to get his char back. And instead of taking the ladder or trap door, he needs to talk to the guy in the top corner and give him your hearthsecret (which you can set on your kin list). Then he takes the stairs down, and will spawn his hearthfire next to yours.
