Does Marksman Affect the Chance to Hit an Animal?

Currently I have 5 marksman, and I can get the bar up fairly slow, and i have a trapped IX fox, if I get the bar allt he way full, would it hit?

the bar is what effects chance to hit. marksman effects how fast the bar raises.

Not just quality of the string. Your perception and the target's agility affects the minimum damage.

Not that I know. Marksman skill only affects aim (time).

As far as i know
The q of the ling/bow and your marksman affect the speed it goes up

Currently im on marksman 15 and have been given a q83 sling

It takes about 30 seconds to get to the green area and most of the time it does hit
and when it does it tends to hit around the 100 mark quite consistently

Ammo how ever im not so sure, i did hear that the q of the stones doesn't affect how high you hit(sling), not 100% on arrows though(bow)
