There isn't mine near me

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question has been asked several times but I can not find a mine. I used 3 rustroots extracts with a total of 12 attempts and I could not find any mine in 3000-tile radius. I play with my girlfriend and friends in a village under Soviet Russia. I tried below, left and right of Soviet Russia, but without success. Can someone tell me how to do to find a mine? We desperately need it for metal.

Mines are not so easily found and many of them have already been dug up and claimed meaning your prospecting won't find them. Chances are every mine around your settlement has been walled off and are unusable until you break in. Finding your own mine would entail venturing off far away and using a lot more than three rustroot.

Your best bet to get metal would to be trading for it. Check the Apples and Oranges section of the forum and you'll see what people want in exchange for it.

I happen to live near soviet russia as well, and I will be heading out to find a mine. I would suggest doing something similar to what I am doing, which is heading out closer to the edge of the world, where there should be fewer or no people, and prospecting.

their is a mine near the village i live in but its only copper if you could find me i would be willing to accpt you into the village and give you entrance to the mine.
