Building on Stone

Hey everyone, I was trying to construct a log cabin but it won't let me build it on stone flooring. Is there any way I can, or if so how do I remove the flooring and the cultivated ground under it?

You should be able to build your log cabin on pavement if there is enough pavement for the log cabin. Chances are, there is probably something within the build field preventing you from building or you don't have a large enough area of pavement for the log cabin.

I had this same problem, then I figured out that the edges of your building have to be half-way through a tile of pavement. So, build another ring of pavement around your existing one, and make sure there is half a tile of cobble on all sides - problem solved!
