Rowboat

Can someone help me?

when ever i try to make a rowboat, it always says unable to build that there..
What am i doing wrong?

well wherever "there" is, is the wrong place to build it. you're not really giving much info to work with though

It has been my experience that row-boats require a 4x6 area, clear of stumps signs and other things. The actual boat is about 2x4, but the extra space seems to be designated loading zone and is added even while building. The next thing is you cannot build most things on mountains, and I have yet to try on mudflats, but everywhere else is fine, supposing there is enough space. Oh, and I don't believe you can build them on the water, but you can easily lift them from where you do and drop them in the shallows. Hope that helps!
