How do i build a mine or mine ore?

Just started a few days ago and have no idear how to get ore!
Please help I know it's a noob question

Ok here we go please try searching in the forum a bit before posting a common topic, but no matter the servers down and im bored hehe

Ok first of all you need the skill prospecting, that allows yo to prospect believe it or not,

Next thing you see the stats menu you have when you press the face on you HUD, click it
youll see alot of stats, the ones you have to worry about are exploration and perception

Exploration is easy enough to get up as all you need is Learning points to put that up
Perception on the other hand, that requires food feps, you can get these from Carrots, Deer meat, Boiled eggs, and two types of suasages
Your only gonna be able to get carrots if you just started a few days ago, (anyway raise your exploration to 10 and you'll see WWW's that look like feathers, put them in a drying rack and with any luck you'll get a carrot seed)

Ok once you have your carrots going keep eating them(but not too much and don't forget to regrow them) until your perception is about 25
Next have your exploration around 35+

Right this is the fun part,
you need to go searching for a thing called rustroot, looks like a bloodsplatter on the ground which you can pick like you do the other herbs once you have that you need to make rustroot extract which is made by having a jar in your inventory and a bucket of water(4L)

Right this is the relly fun part,
if your anywhere lots of people, chances are your not gonna find one very easily if at all, if this is the case choose a direction and go that way forever untill you cant walk anymore and go then walk one of two directions and prospect every 20 mins (eg if you went south you'd be travelling east or west)
If this isnt the case, grab a boat and prospect once in a while untill you get a mineral result

BEAR in mind you only have 3 tries per rustroot so use wisely,
