..download the app. through java

my friends and I have been trying for like 5 hours now while we play red dead redemption on ps3 XD... it just says downloading application while the progress bar stays at about 25%. Tried restarting, uninstalling java and reinstalling it. tried java for firefox/IE. ive tried waiting 2 hours .. ive tried closing and opening the program multiple times to see if it will download. tried pacho's program too but its all the same lol. So this is kinda my last resort before giving up. helps please XD
