why does the server keep crashing

i just want to know why the server is down a fair bit. it gets a bit annoying after a while but not enough to make me stop playing.

I'm new and was wondering the same thing. How long is the server usually down for? How often does this happen?

Basicly in short terms, for the TL;DR people. Is that the Server is hosted from ONE guys room from one Harddrive. Power cuts, bumpped power cords, over heating and many other simple things like this can crash the server. There is also basic internet bandwidth problems and such that can cause the server crashes. Back when we got the large surge of Russian Folk discovering the Game, there were crashes and Lag as far as the eye could see. Also lead to a lot of Anti Russian Factions from the english speaking folk, which caused a lot of the hate that most Russian folk hold against us English speaking folk (Remember that the English Speaking folk I mean are British and American Colonies/Nations)...

This isn't a Game Company mate, this is two guys who make an MMO in their spare time during Uni...
HnH is a Hobby of theirs. IF you want to make it better to play, see that little button down the bottom of the Forum page, a little guy holding a dagger at you while his other hand is out waiting for something, and the big word reading DONATE is next to him...

Click that and send them some coin if you can spare it...

There is one Guy who spends all his time working on the game he relased to the public that is in alpha that he hasn't charged anyone anything to play. Without having to go to work itself. Check out the Bay12 Site for more info, those folk (myself included if I had the coin myself) donate to him like 1000USD a Month for him to keep it up...

Perhaps if the HnH community all started to donate to JnL then they too could spend their whole time making it better...

Server is down because of some bug or other in the software. How long it's down for depends on what loftar (my partner in crime) is doing atm. Usually less than one standard sleep cycle.
