Is it supposed to be slow?

Like when closing a window by clicking the x, after clicking, there is like a 1-2 second delay before it closes, this is very annoying! Is something wrong with my computer or the game or is this normal :/ ? Just registered, still naked and don't know how to do anything XD and I'm just going to quit if it's this slow on purpose :/

That's just because the window doesn't actually close until the client has verified that the account has been logged out at the server. At times of more extreme lag, I would imagine that might take 1-2 seconds, indeed.

I think he's talking about the in-game windows (like inventory and containers), not the client...

kind of the same thing though, you click the x, client sends a message to the server, server lags a bit, server sends message back to close the container, client closes container

Ew the lag is horrible then... Is it always like this or only when the server is busy(is the server always busy?) The website loads slow for me too so I'm willing to bet the server isn't too great? This is a huge turnoff to new players like me...

Ok I just rant he game again and it's not lagging like crazy, it's pretty good now, perhaps it was because it was the first time the game ran, it did stay at a black screen for about 10 minutes while I watched .hack//sign and ignored it lol, and checked it later and it wasn't black no more... Are there any plans for the server to be upgraded? Also I clicked this one menu that says you are alone in the world, does this mean no one else at all except for me is playing lol?

It's laggy for me all the time except late at night when the server ain't too busy. It's frustrating but still not bad enough to stop me being able to play.
