Remind Me - Village Claims, Crossroads, Destroying Villages.

CAN you destroy a village, or something, cause I discovered a place, well mine, which has a crossroad out the front of it, but NO Village...
[Politics] The word was derived by the joining of two others, Poli - A Latin word meaning Many. And Tics - Annoying Bloodsucking Parasites...

They built the crossroad when a village was there and then destroyed it. When the village is gone the crossroad can be warped 'to' but not 'from'.
