Seed Quality

I am still pretty unclear about the Q of seeds. Atm I got 30 farming. I have planted Q1 Carrots. Is there a chance I can harvest higher Q carrot seeds when they grow then?

The quality of harvested crops is Crop Q - 2/+ 5, soft capped by Farming Level +3.
You will almost certainly receive a few carrots above Q1, and perhaps a few that stay Q1.
