Exploration Cap

So does exploration have a cap where you can eventually just see every type of root/herb/plant or if I kept raising it does it make even more appear?

To see the criminal scent it is better to have the exploration higher than the stealth of the criminal. There is no cap upon the stealth so for the ranger it becomes the arms race, always to raise the exploration faster than the criminals raise the stealth, and there is no end.

I understand for the plants and mussels and minerals there is a cap but I do not know what it is. The ones I ask do not know. I would also like to know this.

What per*exp allows you to see all that can be unseen?

it's not so much picking up the scent where it matters (since you can reroll that) but when you track it, it matters.

It does? In what way? I didn't know that.

you ever tracked a scent? you know the circle thing, with the pie slice? your per*exploration vs. the criminal's int*stealth determines the width of the slice.

Not the distance, as with a well?

So what does it mean if the pie is really narrow? Not that they are close, but that my per*exp is much higher than their int*stealth?

Since pretty much nobody is bothering to raise stealth. I guess it follows that the slice will be narrow almost all the time.
