Gangband, where is it located in the world

I just stumbled upon this place called Gangband, its a village in a mountain but no idea where in the world it is.

Has anyone been here before? anyone got a grid reference?

B2 supergrid. You can use crossroads there to get to New Dorenzil, and then to Constantinople from N.Dorenzil (and bunch of other villages).

I'm a little fuzzy on the whole grid system, is there a thread that explains it? I'm trying to work out where I am in location to Gangband. I travelled a fair distance from my camp to find it I'm not so sure if I could find it again :/

Nobody seems very forthcoming when it comes to revealing maps.

But where does the whole B2 supergrid bit come in, you say N1W1 is that B2? is it a grid like:

and X is me?

The old grid system got hard to use as they were adding new SGs to all four sides of the map, so letters would have to be changed or made negative. B2 is one north and one west of center, where constantinople is, and is the same as N1W1.
