Palisade - Gate gap too small

Postby RobinP » Sun Jul 04, 2010 11:13 pm

Well, we decided to build a palisade, but we couldn't figure out how many squares were left and managed to be left with a single square for the gate! D:

Anything we can do apart from just knock a hole in one of the other sides with a battering ram? I only have 75 str, you see. :(

Looks like two squares to me...

Did you seal a cornerpost or something?

Also inb4 "2 infront and behind need to be paved" because from my experience they merely need to be walkable.

I thought it was 2 squares as well, but a couple of people told me it was only 1.

When I was searching around I was under the impression they simply needed to be clear. I'll try laying stone though. Thanks for the quick answer, much appreciated.

Ah, worked out fine. Needed to stone the floor.

Thanks again for your help. If you ever happen to wonder past the camp, you're always welcome to come in for some food & tea.

You sound like the sort of genuinly nice person I'd love to run across in the game, it's just a shame there's no way to know how far away it is. That, and people quickly discover that 95% of H&H players invited in would rather kill you and steal everything.

Good luck, mate. If I do happen to randomly stumble across you, I'll definitely take up that offer of a cuppa' tea. :)
