How to use the backpack?

So i made my backpack (finally) and now im wondering how i open it up to see the more slots i have avaliable?

You don't have to open, but equip it. Just open your equipment screen and place the backpack on your character. You will have additional slots in your inventory afterwards.

Thankyou my good Sir, is there a limit to backpacks / are they "destroyed" up one or few deaths. Also how do i repair a wooden plough?

you can only carry one, they cant be destroyed, use wood blocks to repair a plow

Thanks, how do i destroy the big rocks that give you stone when you chip them lol? one is impeding my wall building process

You can get the stoneworking skill and create a runestone out of the rock.
