Decay rates. (food items) ?

Are food subject to decay when there stored in a cupboard inside a house?

I had some Carrot cakes that I made some days(rl) ago, and there gone. Not even some leftover crumbs where to be found.

As nothing else seems to be missing, I had no stealthy carrot cake loving visitor.
And items I picked up after baking the cakes are still there. Or server rollback seems not relative to.

I want my cake's back.

Food in containers doesn't decay. If you're positive nobody robbed you, you must be eating while sleepwalking (it's a fairly common thing).

No sent's to be found, but thats not saying that much yet in my case.

I'll bake some more and see what happens.

And put my Alt on watch. ... While I stakeout my Alt.

To see scents you have to have the Ranging skill and also turn on tracking in the adventure menu.
