Where am I? (details inside)

I am in a moor that somewhat north of there is another moor with a road to a village by the name of Neapolis or something like that. South of me or so is a large body of water with sandy beaches and a river heading due left. To the east, I have a river/small lake with a peninsula, and a small fort near the peninsula with alpha in its name. NW of the lake, there is a river that goes NW and on the N bank there is a fort a few screens away from the river called Fort Yates, and a little up the river is an old dilapidated fort called Elf outpost. These are all many screens apart and I always hearth back home when visiting them as they are too far.
