Issues with Stake Claiming?

Postby Vortrex » Thu Jul 08, 2010 5:46 am

Hey guys,

So me and four buddies are in our settlement and I built the Claim stake. Now it seems only I am able to extend it with LP but is there a way to let my four friends do that too? If not is there a way to transfer LP to me to add on to our claim?

Thanks for any help!

Nope; ordinary claims are mostly intended for personal use. If you want to cooperate more loosely than that, you may want to look into building a village instead.

Failing that, you could always just all get your own claims and combine their fields, but if any of them drop off it gets a bit problematic should any new friends show up and are not able to gain access due to an inactive friend.

So do village claims work like personal claims?

As in no one can go on it unless they tresspass?

Does that mean i can take my personal claim down from village and add it some where else?

And if i do that do i lose all the lp i put in to it?

Thank you for yur replys...

1. Yes, except you can walk on village land without leaving tresspassing scents (even if you are not part of the village). Remember, village land is everyone in the villages land. Every other scent leaving action will leave scents.
2. You can, but doing this will allow everyone who is part of the village to get onto your personal 'claim' unless you wall it off.
3. You actually get all that LP back when you declaim.

Only issue here is claims can't come closer than 5 tiles from each other, so to do this you'd end up with a large strip between claims which anybody could walk through.

Me and my friend didn't really have this problem, because we both started together and we split all the skills so that I learn half of em and he learns the other half.
So now we both work on seperate things so that we both don't have to learn em all. We can jsut ask each other. :)

The strips of land between claims won't really help anybody if they're blocked off by walls. :D
