Finding Rustroot

I'm relatively new to the game and trying to find rustroot to start prospecting. I've got per 16/explore 36 and never had trouble with any other herbs. I've even found a bunch of cavebulbs when exploring caves but I've never seen a single rustroot anywhere in the forest.

Are they just that rare or am I doing something wrong?

They're rare, and you need perception greater than 15, and exploration greater than 18 to see them.

You only have 576 perc*exp. It's a bit low for finding rustroot, but its possible. It's just going to make it even harder to find.


I found my first rustroot at 750. Try to go for 900+ points for the best chances.
