1 HHP left! What to do.

What Happened?
I had about 30 HPP. I was inside my cabin and I walked right out only to be greeted by a huge bear. He mauled me twice. My brain finally started working so I logged out and was knocked after logging out (fair enough ) . I retreated to my friend's place directly above me, since I assumed that the bear was still at my place. I was mauled by another bear near his place. After the attack, I walked to my cabin and a boar attacked me. At this point, I am down to about 6 HPP (give or take). I was going to do the leech trick. In order for this to work I had to eat something to regain my SHP, so I ate an onion. Now I am at 1 HPP.

TL;DR - I got attacked by a bunch of animals and ate bad food. I am at 1 HPP.

+ I am in supergrid C1 and I am settled near the swamp (see image). name: theodox
+ I can't put a number on it, but I accumulated A LOT of LP. My bar is leaning towards Change 3 notches up.
+ The leech trick will pretty much instantly kill me.
+ None of my neighbors have a gauze

What do I do at this point?
I have lots of herbs. Is there a way to make some kind of medicine?

I may sound a bit desperate. I worked so hard on my guy and will loose 65%. If I am near a village, please give me a gauze. You may take anything that is inside my cabins and containers, my property is not marked.

I had this problem too, most people laughed, told me to give up and make a new character. But if you try hard enough then you'll survive.

What you'll need to survive:
- One or Two good friends.
- Spare pair of clogs/shoes in your inventory.
- Camp with fences.
- Spare food.
- Leeches

First you must ask one of your friends to go get you leeches, now be EXTRA careful with this. Use your leeches until you have 5-10 hhp. Make sure that you take the leech off when you have 0 SHP. And slowly get more HHP. Also make sure you've eaten a lot of food.
Then get your other friend to go search for villages friendly and willingly enough to give your friend gauze, do not leave your camp until your friend gives you the gauze.
And hopefully if your careful enough liek I was you will survive.

As you say, the leech trick will kill you, so you need gauze. What I'd do is to follow the river until you reach plains/heath/grasslands. If you hug the river shallows animals won't be able to reach you, so you shouldn't have trouble avoiding getting knocked out again. There are no aggressive animals on grasslands, so you should be safe once you find one, but be careful near the edges, as you may aggro animals in the forest, or some may even wander into the outskirts of the grassland.

Once you've found grasslands dump all your lp into exploration, and look for clovers. If you can't find any, grind more lp. Then find mufloons, feed one the clover and harvest wool. You'll need a loom to craft the gauze, so bring some string to make it. I see in your screenshot that you've got flax, you could bring some seeds and farm flax on the grassland to get the 25 strings you need safely. If you have carrots, peas or beetroot bring them to, and farm them to get perception, that will make it easier to find clovers.

Good Luck! It will be a challenge for you to survive, but if you pull it off it will be a very rewarding experience.

It's amazing how we get several "I HAS LOW HHP" threads every single week, each newbie seeming to have less HHP than the last. This one tops them all, and I'm somewhat surprised that you have more hope for survival than I initially thought.

Also, don't trust river shallows; animals can reach into an adjacent tile, and since rivers are only 1 shallow, animals are able to still reach you. Stay near a boat, house or 2+ tile shallow water (maybe even a bed, not sure how logging out in combat works). Also carry a waterflask/waterskin with you (filled, of course), so you can easily outrun any boars you might still accidentally aggro.

wait a day or 2 and youl regain 1hhp, come in here to confirm it when that happens. i have a few people i want to tel to go fuck themselves with it

after that you can use leeches but have to remove it after each suck at first. put leeches on yourself when you are at 90% hhp next time ........

I still have 29HHP, and I've had that for about a week now. HHP DOES NOT come back without gauze, or leeches.

And OP, don't eat onions. They give HURT FEPs, they're only good for cooking.

Alternatively you could just use an alt to go on a Zelda II type of quest to get gauze for your first character's battered near-corpse. Just as long as you end up close by.
