A quick question about taming.

So far I have tamed a mouflon and an auroch. The process itself is pretty simple if you have the skills and the equips, but it's time consuming. Now, I know you can tame 2 animals at the same time, but that's not my question:

The usual process is Call Down the Thunder -> Sidestep -> Sting like a Bee -> Quell the Beast. Then you wait for aggro and repeat. Now, I understand hitting the animal will make it lose tameness, however, what would happen if I start the aggro again by using Call Down The Thunder? It doesn't do damage to the animal, but would it still lose tameness? As in, could I skip the "wait for the animal to reaggro by itself" part, and just try to quell it again?

There are no wild animals near my settlement right now so I haven't been able to try it out, so I'm just wondering.

calling the thunder on the animal you're trying to tame would be the same as aggroing it any other way: bad.

for pack animals like mouflons and aurochs, you can aggro a different member of the herd to cause them to aggro you which works just fine. and boars attack you right away so there's no wait.
