Let's say personY wants to kill personX. Does personY have to have a scent from a crime committed by personX to summon personX to personX's hearthfire, or can personY summon personX to personX's hearthfire without the scent of a crime committed by personX?
Of course in your hypothetical example, I am not sure I would call that "murder someone". Summoning, since it requires crime scents would be bette r classified as "vengence, justice, execution" as opposed to "murder". If you wanted to grief murder someone for lols you'd just walk up to whomever , engage them and murder them. Of course then this would make you the greifer and since there are a lot of respectable players who enjoy excercising their combat/strength skills in a legit fashion...you'd no doubt be the one summoned and executed. I would suggest becoming one of those if you wish to engage in enjoyable and legit PVP as there is no shortage of vandals and griefers for you to go after....+ you get all the Paladin worship, good LP from the executions, and perhaps even some delicious bisquits from those you protect/assist..lol
