sheep and pig milk?

i've read that baby animals drink milk from their mother, but i've also read that only cows are good for milk. so what about lambs and piglets? can i actually milk pigs and sheep or do they just contain milk that is only accessible to their children? if it's the latter, what happens if i store milk in a barrel? will piglets and lambs drink from the barrel over their parents like calves and waste milk?

Babies only drink the milk of females. Putting a barrel wouldn't do a thing.
Also, NEVER EVER EVER EVER seperate the mother from her child before it is fully grown.

a few days ago on this forum i heard babies do drink milk from barrels

don't know if its true or if it's a stupid trolling attempt.
