Boar Taming

When trapping a boar to tame it, can you use the same strategy to tame a boar as when you tame an aurochs or a mouflon? The strategy is just trapping it in signposts and taking out a corner? I heard boars sneak through small gaps easily (and through personal experience!) so I was wondering if you could use the corner trick.

If you live near a lake you don't even have to trap the boar. Just aggro it and run into the shallow water.
