I'd like to know this as well, I've been trying to get regular wheat seeds from windsown weeds, and I feel like I can't leave the dang things unattended on the herbalists bench for fear that I'll wind up with unplantable germinated seeds.

WWWs don't take very long at all to dry on an herbalist table, so there's not a lot of risk so long as you check every few hours. They're not going to germinate in five minutes.

I've not done any in a while, but it is a long time, 24 hours of IRL time sounds about right. It took me several days using two tables to germinate enough for a barrel of beer, so I made four more specifically for use for them, and tobacco drying, which also takes forever.

this is a bug sabinati move it there please. obviosuly wheat seeds should not move to the next process unless replaced just like cheese.

24 hours, I can live with that. I don't play every day, but I can pop in for a minute to remove dried seeds before they germinate, I'd think.

Well, if you want to be sure to avoid the problem for now, just place the WWWs on drying frames instead.
