Regarding decaying palisades.

While traveling, a friend and I have come upon a seemingly deserted village with many decaying items including the palisade surrounding it. One segment of the palisade glows a bright pink indicating to me that it is in the last stage of decay before it completely disappears. My question for you guys is do you think that my friend and I, both with 70-80 strength, could destroy said piece of palisade if we were to wack at it all day? Thanks in advance for your replies.

You could not. You would be able to if you were to build a battering ram, however.
