Get food

Is there an easier way to get food than fishing (once you get everything you need for a fishing pole it seemed the easiest way,not much chasing around)?
I was thinking about something from agriculture,something that you just harvest and its ready to eat and fills your hunger bar decently.

Actually, fishing is pretty good.

Otherwhise, search an abondoned farm, get the skill farming, harvest the crops, hunt for rabbits, and if you are very hungry, also eat rats.

When I was just starting off, I found living in a forest with apple trees worked great for keeping fed. Fishing is great if you're patient and can replace the components of the fishing pole when they break. I wouldn't eat rats though, they can cause black FEP events which cost you HP.

You're right, agriculture is the best way to keep your stomach filled. In fact, once you get crops running, you'll have trouble eating all the food you make and will have to buy better feasting equipment. But it takes a while to get the crops, and in the meantime fishing is best for raising stats and wild chickens are the best for filling hunger. Just find a grassland and move there, you'll have plenty of chickens.

Is there a map or something that i can see where grassland is? I need chickens i think To tame them

Nah, you just have to wander around. It's slow on foot, but if you get a boat and sail around, you'll find a grassland in half an hour, tops. You'll have to subsist on bunnies while you get the LP for boatmaking. It can be a bit tricky, but it's perfectly doable.

You do not "Tame" chickens per say, you just catch some and shove them into a Chicken Coop. I also agree with the others that you should search for grasslands etc, because Mouflan(Wild Sheep), Auroch(Wild Cows), and Chickens(Chickens) spawn there.
