How to? tree quality+

Postby bisjac » Fri Jul 23, 2010 2:37 am

The wiki dont really detail it enough. what is the equation for tree quality?

i thought it was seedQ, waterQ, and soilQ

but few of us were debating on water maybe not being as important as the soil, and there was possibly the pot Q affecting it.
what all should i know on this.

They all have an effect, the herbalist table too, and of course the seed. I don't know the exact formula, though.

there is also some random variance, and it's softcapped by farming.

You forgot the quality of the pot.

In my experience, not so. I get consistant results if using same equipment and equivilant q mats.

Maybe the random factor is very small then, I admit not keeping an eye to the most minute detail, but my tree q increase has been pretty predictable.

if you put 4 seeds of the same q in the same q pots with the same q soil and the same q water and put them all on the same table you'll end up with 4 trees with a quality range of a few points of each other, so yes, it's small, like the quality variance with farming.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's +/- 5.
