how do i get rid of hearth fires?

We are from a small community, and just getting ourselves started on this game.
So we have bunch of people trying for two hours and giving up and stuff.

The problem is, we have about ten hearth fires which gets people stuck on the way.
can't contact the owners(that is, we dont even know who they are,) so cant be moved by owners
It's really pain on the arss.

so our only hope is to wait it disintegrate(does it ever, btw?)
or get vandalism(which will take pretty long for newbie, and such a waste! we are not gangbangers.
and heard it takes 250% stamina with pickaxe with 50 str... that's even more pain..)


So my question is, is there any other way to get rid of it?
if not, how long would it take for it to dissappear naturally?

I don't think there is another way and i also don't think you can remove them...

I'm pretty sure you can destroy them but doing so leaves a tracking scent, im sure.

There are just two ways:
1) Destroy them.
2) Wait for their owners and tell them to lit new hearthfires.

Nobody is going to bother tracking that scent before it disappears.
