Are horses still tamed the same way, with carrots and wheat seeds given to an untamed cow? Or have the changed? I don't want to waste the resources just to find out that they have changed.

No, it's been changed to 5 gold and 5 silver nuggets. There were simply too many horses for the server to handle.

Usually April fools jokes are funny, but this was just mean. Seriously, I was really looking forward to taming a horse and everything.

The stable is now in the depths of the ocean and doesn't require any seed deliverence anymore. Make sure to save up for the skill, "swimming" & go take a look. It is quite hard to find a horse so the bigger the body of water the more likely you are to succeed in finding one. Keep in mind that the lower your constitution is the more likely you are to find them. It is supposed to maintain some balance so all the high levels don't get all the horses first. Hopefully you get your first horse soon and enjoy the many wonders they bring.

It still is confusing to me this day as to why the stable is in the ocean but I suppose it does make it more challenging to find and harder to spot as opposed to if it was on land.
