To build a palisade gate do i have to have 2 cornerposts that require Block of Wood x100,Leather x10,Bone Glue x2, Rope x5 or just one?

If you build only one gate you need one cornerpost.
Then expand from it till you end with second cornerpost 2 tiles away and build gate.

Build first "expensive" cornerpost. From it build wall all over the place you want to protect. End with "cheap" cornerpost (from the first there must be 2 free tiles left for the gate(. Build gate between two cornerposts.

No. Start with an expensive cornerpost. Build in a circle to end with a cheap cornerpost next to the expensive one.

i understand now but the problem is that i am using a hill as a natural obstacle so i cant build in circle.

Careful with hills, not all hills will end flush with the cornerpost, i seen villages where i just walked in between a crack. If you got one of those nasty hills you gonna need to fence in or around it.
