Has anyone figured out the quality formula yet? If not here some example for your data:
3*q31 leather 2*q11 wax in q10 water q22 branch created a q18 hardened leather
3*q34 leather 2*q11 wax in q29 water q22 branch created a q22 hardened leather

Data contributions are always welcome on the respective wiki pages' "Discussion" page. Something like this requires rather detailed, large-scale research.

You also forgot to give the cauldron type/quality, and your sewing/dex; they're usually relevant when it comes to cloth/leather crafting.

Thought people said that cauldron quality doesn't matter, according to a thread about what does and doesn't matter. O_o

When working out formulas, assume everything matters.

cauldron q almost always matters, cauldron fuel q rarely, if ever, does.

Hardened Leather seems a straight (3*qLeather + 2*qBeeswax +qWater)/6, softcapped by sqrt(Sewing*Psy).
