What does ctrl+A do?

I've looked in the wiki, but all it says is "Architecture" so does anyone know what it does?
The highway currently goes nowhere.
Well, where is it supposed to go to? Irongrad? thats an hour away!

I don't quite remember, but it was probably some really old way to claim land. Most likely for testing.

That was Ctrl+L, and it's still in-game, from what I know; just deprecated.

The architecture window was for (as I recall it) building houses, or more specific - walls.
