gaining attributes from food

Why do some people eat raw food just to quench their hunger because they don't want to gain more inteligence for example?
Gaining attributes from food becomes harder and harder the more you get?

It's either they're just too lazy to cook it, they want to die, or just really don't want the FEPs. I normally do that with food that I don't want FEPs from.

When I'm out tracking and I end up going hungry, I just say fuck it and eat animals raw, usually. CBA to collect 5 branches (my inv is usually full), then sit for 5 minutes roasting all the meat (to gain FEP I might not even want, at that).

I personally never do that. Waste of perfectly good hunger.

The higher your stats, the more FEPs are required to make gains. The exact numbers are sketchy but it does go up and those who are intent on min/maxing will shoot only for, say, STR or PSY to maximize the value of the foods that they do eat. Honestly, nothing is so hard to get that you need to do this, so I'd advise against it. 2000 Strength isn't worth it =P
