Can you shoot through a wall. For example, if I put my livestock right next to the wall, can someone kill it from outside?

You can shoot through walls, but you can't shoot livestock. Livestock can't be aggroed at all, the only way to kill them is to slaughter them, and you have to stand next to them to do that.
