How do I fix ceramic meat grinder without having metal?

It didn't take single piece of metal to create ceramic meat grinder, now it says it needs metal to be repaired.
Does it work as intended?

That would probably be a bug, and to prevent your grinder from decaying and having to do annoying repairs, you should store it in your house.
