I would work toward whatever the village needed most. Full disclosure: I am new to the game, but I've been learning quickly and I work hard. After being a lone wolf for an amount of time learning the game, I think it's about time to be a part of a community. Need someone to gather wood for houses? Done. Need someone to dedicate himself to farming? Done. The tasks don't really matter -- I just want to be part of and working with a community.
