new player looking for a village/help.

I played this game a few days in a row now, but my main char died because of drowning (damn you drown fast) meaning I have to start over again withouth any items. I'm looking for a village because I'd like to have some help and company while learning more of the game besides the initial stages (upto finding bone for a bone saw). I spend days trying to find a rabbit for bone but even with enders and ctr + x no luck. rats, ant hills, moose, bears etc. I did find but no rabbits.

In short I'm looking for a friendly group of people to play this game with and help eachother. My time zone is GMT+1 and I play around 2-5 hrs per day.
I intend to make a new char to join a group of people. At this stage I'd like to go forager/hunter as main direction but i don't mind taking other roles either.

getting good in 1 type of product is a good way to make items for trading,i guess.

Pretty sure no one really cares what equipment you've got with you when forming a town. Personality, attitude, and ingenuity are what's key. You can learn or make the rest as you go.

i think they also want you to be either advanced by yourself or have tons of knowledge.

You don't need to have advanced too far, though most prefer if you have a basic knowledge of game mechanics and the ability to use the wiki.

i use the wiki and know the basic mechanics by now but still have a hard time finding a village.
i alone made a house,farm and working on hunting and leather already.
just hope i get invited to a village soon enough,its boring alone.
anyway not my topic <_<
