I know I am in the small group that liked fallout 3 better than New Vegas. But I felt the atmosphere in Fallout 3 was just better. It felt more like a wasteland would. The map was large, desolate, and you barely saw any real people not trying to murder you.
In New Vegas I just never had the same feeling I got from fallout 3. Walking through the ruins of DC and the radio starts singing ...I don't want to set the world on fire...
