Yeah, I actually am a big fan of older music. So I am always happy to hear it used in video games or movies. Henry Hall is a favorite of mine, you might have heard his cover of "Whose afraid of the big bad wolf?" and his song "Here comes the boogey man". Billie Holiday is a classic, with her popular song "Gloomy Sunday".

People I don't think know how twisted, spooky and sad alot of old songs are! Perfect for game music.

i need to finish fallout 3 sometime =/

I know I am in the small group that liked fallout 3 better than New Vegas. But I felt the atmosphere in Fallout 3 was just better. It felt more like a wasteland would. The map was large, desolate, and you barely saw any real people not trying to murder you.

In New Vegas I just never had the same feeling I got from fallout 3. Walking through the ruins of DC and the radio starts singing ...I don't want to set the world on fire...

Maybe I am just a hipster.

well the big difference (if you follow the story line) is that new california where new vegas takes place) became repopulating from all the vault dwellers roughly 200 years before the start of fallout 3, while the east coast (fallout 3) didn't really start till 50 years before the start of fallout 3, so it makes sense to have new vegas be more densely populated
