Game Experience
- How long have you been playing the game for?
+ A month or so.
- Describe your game experience so far.
+ Fortunate.
In longer terms, within my first day, I found an abandoned, unclaimed plot and raided it for seeds and some tools. I developed very quickly. Within three RL days, my first character was killed by a boar. By about a RL week, I moved from my temporary camp to a camp on the edge of a lake. I made a small farm, some furniture, even an oven and a kiln. I ate bread (though only occasionally), pie, pirozhkis, salads, drank some wine, smoked tobacco, and lived in a log cabin with over four cupboards worth of crap. My second character died after about a week of life when some jerkass stole his boat. He tried to swim and died.
Others have told me the location I was at was prone to raiding, because I lived at about 70, -50 and because I lived close to the water, and therefore I should move. About a week and a half ago (I think?) I made a two-day and three night expedition to get an ox and a wagon so I could move out. I loaded my wagon, and in a particularly nerve-wracking night I emigrated from my camp. I am starting a new home and a Church as the Catholic Bishop in Norrath. I have no political power, currently.
- What are your most significant accomplishments in the game?
+ Trekking about 200 coordinates or more on the map by oxcart in the middle of the night with a full wagon.
+ Building a timber house and the corner of a palisade wall (not complete yet, but a few ropes and leather and I will be done).
+ Never once being killed or KOed by a human player in the course of my lives. Somehow managing to remain on friendly terms with almost everyone I meet. Receiving many gifts from other, much better players. Starting a meaningful discussion in the in-game chat. In general, I am strangely good with people - diplomatic.
- Have you been in any other villages? If so, for how long and why did you leave?
+ Until I joined Norrath, I have been a hermit with nearby friends.
- Should you join the village, what job(s) would you perform?
+ I am taking on many different tasks. I will be weaving cloth for banners, making wine, baking bread and farming food. I also provide debate on moral issues, basic information on the Catholic Church, and diversion for our village Lawspeaker, Radenk.
- Do you already have a character or would you start a new one?
+ I am the Bishop Richard Challoner, Shepherd and Teacher of the Diocese of Norrath.
I submit to the venerable
Cardinal Fungi.
