You would be surprised. My demeanor can vary drastically dependent upon the situation. Right now I'm posting in what is essentially an applications subforums. The more original and quirky I am, the more I stand out. As of right now I have no reputation, and no in-game skills so I have to rely on my personality to sell myself. Most of my diplomatic experience was actually on Puzzle Pirates coordinating between flags (and crews within flags) to blockade islands or organize events. I have also spent time running my own guild on a WoW private server again organizing raids into horde territory and recruiting new members. I've also experienced a large amount of fun playing Dwarven fortress.

When the situation calls for it, I will be as serious as I need to be.

Edit: I've actually been a forum moderation and game master on various websites and for various games. What does this mean to you? On most private servers the game masters / forum moderators are players whom also fill these roles of authority. As such I had to be a player, I had to let them be relaxed around me, they had to enjoy my company or else I would not stay in my position for long. Of course, if I didn't enforce the rules I would be removed from my position by the powers that be. You just have to learn to toggle seriousface.bmp, and that is what I know how to do. Just untick the box labled seriousface.bmp

I don't have any better offers for you, sorry. I just recall Warhamer playing in pretty questionable company in earlier worlds. Pretty immature players screwing each other up, if you know what I mean.

Okay, I believe I may have found my permanent residence, depending on how things turn out when I actually tour the village and meet the other members.

Well, if they don't work out, you can always give our little dungheap of a village a lookie-loo. At best, you can move in/erect a house somewheres. At worst, you can piss on my skeleton collection. Hey, someone has to clean up the forests. People littering the forest floor with their skeletons, and never bothering to pick up after themselves. The nerve!!
