New guy looking for home.

Hey folks! Just picked up this game last night, having found it in a random google search. Seems like fun (albeit kinda slow), but I'm having trouble playing it (I guess). I'm just not sure what to do at this point, I've built a leanto, put a bed in it, and made some baskets, but I don't know where to go next. I was hoping I could find a nice community to throw myself into, and try to learn the ropes with the help of some veterans.

I'm in the Eastern time zone, I can usually play any day after 5, or even earlier on the weekends. I really don't care what kind of village I join, I don't really have a set of "morals" or anything, I just want to play with a nice group of guys and/or gals and have some fun.
