recruiting hermits

Postby sabinati » Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:41 pm

as the title says, i am recruiting some hermits to relocate to various locations to assist in the upkeep and management of said locations. preference will be given to people i have had positive interaction with in previous worlds and on the forum, but new players are welcome to apply. successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills and will play frequently (3+ days a week).

those chosen will be assisted with all needs, e.g. tools and necessary materials, and will be able to trade for various luxuries, e.g. symbel items, better curios, etc.

please apply via PM but feel free to ask any questions in this thread. applications should include relevant info such as:

your age
your time zone
how long you have played
what you enjoy doing most in game
what you have not experienced in game, but would like to
and any other information you feel is relevant in showing that you are the ideal candidate

obviously they are already claimed & with teleports. this is more interesting than that, and provides an opportunity for hermits to better their situation and have more fun, and provides me with labor (minimal on their part, but for me to manage several locations is too much for me personally as my playing time is more limited these days) and local trade parters/allies.

Alright, fair enough. And yeah pretty obvious if you see it that way indeed. Good luck on it.

Where are you guys centrally located? And what sort of "hermit" duties would you be looking for in your upkeep?

I ask because I've already got quite a large place of my own, but it's kind of boring all by myself. My spot is mostly soil (fairly large fields of q80+ crops), but I've been slowly branching out to other duties as well. If I'm not too far away from you guys and you're interested I'd maybe like to set up a general trade relationship. I'm a bit anal about layout and design so I don't much like being part of a village, but I'm only one player and end up producing far more goods then I'll ever imagine using.

I'm sure you've got plenty of other offers but I'd be willing to simply give my excess goods away for free in return for a sense of purpose or added social activities in this game.

That's actually a pretty good idea, and sounds like it could work for both sides.
