Looking for some new characters to (re)start with.

So I logged in one day only to be like, "OH DEAR LORD A BEAR!" Yeah. Logged right on top of a bear. Lucky me. All my weeks of hermiting wasted. :( Anyyyways I was hoping to maybe find a few people who are also either new to the game or starting new characters that would want to progress with me. If we enjoy each other's company and have earned each other's trust, we can then go on to starting a village together. I think this would be a good way to get to know each other before we blindly form a village together. I'd like to get a small group together for this, perhaps 3 or 4 others. That way we can decide as we progress what roll each person will have within the village. Anyways let me know if you'd be interested and a little bit about yourself. Age, where your from, favorite food, ya know. The usual fare.

To be clear I intend on starting a new character and I'm preferably looking for people who are doing the same.

Starting a village sounds fun. I've only played for a day now and I love this game.
It reminds me of the old Nexus TK, only with less magic and more crafting.
I'm 25 years old and I live in Canada BC . I enjoy RPG's, reading, papercraft and playing with my pet python.
Even with only 11 hours into my character I've managed to become self sufficient, fresh fish and a small house. I find the Hermit life tough but fun; although, I would not mind re-rolling to start a village if it means making some friends along the way :D

Hello, I just downloaded the game yesterday and have no clue where to start. Playing with other people sounds like alot more fun than running around starving to death alone. I will join you in making a village, How do we meet up?

I'm 19, play all sorts of games from Heroes of Newerth, minecraft, GMOD (TTT specifically). I Played WoW for years, pvp warlock, raid lead resto shaman. I'm pretty easy to get along with and can probably do any roll you need well once I learn how to do it.

I am from Tennessee, and my favorite food is steak. I enjoy reading when I can be alone (fantasy and scify)

Amazing!

Any of you are welcome to start near me, or even in my village if you want - I've just built the basic infrastructure of a palisade, minehole, farm, village idol, but really all village roles are unfilled and undecided.

If you want to start in my village:

The village is called Hlidarendi, my character is called Gunnar. You can look up "Gunnar of Hlidarendi" on wikipedia if you are interested in where that comes from. My main has ~5kk LP, so he's not so advanced.
I am an anarcho-communist, none of that Marxist-Leninist bullshit for me, thanks, nor any aggressive capitalist profit motive.
I'm from the UK and I'm 23.
At the moment I'm the only inhabitant of the village, which I have built from scratch over the past week.

If you don't want to start in my village, but want to start nearby:

I can help you out and set you up with some basic things, the area is basically empty after everyone pretty much packed up and left due to Taar/Last Vegas deathsquads roaming around killing everyone (They seem to have left now ;), thanks Pandemonium). We can continue to help each other as much or as little as you would like, any association would be entirely voluntary (this also goes for if you live in Hlidarendi, pretty much).

If you're interested in either option, PM me.
in game character: Gunnar of Hlidarendi

pffft get your own thread. Hijacker! :P

Anyways... Skew and Derc. What times are good for you over the next few days to get started? I figured we could all start at the same time in the same area and go from there. That way we can spend a few hours the first day exploring different areas and trying to find a good base camp. From there we'll be able to log in and out at our leisure and as long as we don't stray to far, we'll always be around one another until we can actually start setting up buildings. When would you want to get things rolling. Tonight? Tomorrow? What specific times? I'd like to do it at a time when you can both participate so we can all meet and work together.

Any time, I'm running around now mastering anthills and figured out that curios are important. I can start tonight or tomorrow, whichever is convenient.

EDIT: going to sleep for tonight. If you find a good time I will check this page when I wake up and make sure I'm on.

I'm pretty new to the game as well. Only been playing for a day or so now. I could try to meet up with you guys if you're close. Right now, I'm just south of Pandemonium.

Alright, awake and ready when you are. I don't know how the friend system works, or where pandemonium is.
