by ThePilfererOfHearths » Sun Jul 17, 2011 1:03 pm As you may have concluded by the thread Subject, this is a recruitment thread! But it's not just your regular recruitment thread! It serves for both me and my friend as we're both starting to play Haven!
Bookworms as we are, we studied how the game commands, the leveling system (Learning Points acquired from certain items generally called curiosities), what each skill does, the crafting system, so we know the basics! Except for the combat system, I can't seem to get the hang of it no matter how many times I read, I presume it must be practiced inside of the game to learn how to use it.
Now here comes the good part;
Our pros;
- We work excellent as a team, and have a ton of previous game experience
- We both have a not-too-sick-sense of humor (At least I like to think that way :p)
- We were active in all games we played together, and since H&H is already causing a type of addiction on us, we're most likely gonna spend at least 6-9 hours a day playing it!
- We are ready to take on "jack-of-all-trade-full-nature" builds so whatever needs be done in the village, we'll be up for it!
- We can also make assistant "mining" characters that will go "full-industrial" so we can assist in plunderin' the goodies from Mother Nature! Yarr
- While we're around - you won't be bored. That's a promise.
- We're both over the age of 18
- We're sociable, and might even crack a joke or two most of the time we're on!
Cons;
- We live in different time zones, GMT +1 for me, and he is in GMT-4 so we sometime may not be online at the same time
- We have no previous in-game Haven experience, but we're able learners and have studied the H&H Wikipedia before attempting to play
- Choking to death is always a hazard around us since we're so bloody funny, that's why
ATTN; If you're one of those "too long, didn't read" types, here's the short version.
A friend of mine and I are looking to join a community. We're newbs but we studied the wiki thoroughly. We are no-lifers and we work best as a team, willing to do everything that needs be doing, also willing to specialize in a certain skill if that's what needs be done.
PS; If you need only one of us in the village currently, that's fine as long as you recruit the other one too. At the same bloody time.
