Example Of A Good Village Request?

Postby 0wolfboy0 » Tue Aug 09, 2011 11:11 am

Greetings, short story: I'm looking for a high-level village (used loosely to describe someone around my skill level, e.g. atleast palisade, not necessarily full steel armour etc.)

I am looking for a village just moving into the metal age, or needs help doing so, I am a hunter and can (*has) kill/ed 6 boars + bear in around half an hour.
I can farm low-medium quality crops up to around level 27, I pull my weight, do not expect a house until later, and can keep low cupboard usage (store things in temp chest) whilst giving hunting items / spare seeds to other members of the village.

My friends and I are looking for somewhere to move due to high level raiders, who hunt us for sport. :/

If you are only willing to take on one of us, or you are lower level than myself, I would make an Alternate character and help you start up, I will work for other members of the village without expecting any reward, whilst still expecting the village to supply any necessary objects for the job (i.e. i need to mine for someone, but do not have a pickaxe). I will try to be online asap, no school for 4wks so I can be on for a long time.

My general online times are 9am-11pm GMT Time.
Some friends are on around the same time whilst some are almost on completely opposite timezones, meaning we will always be online to ensure the village is safe and never attacked.

Safety: We all have murder and have exceeding marksmanship levels of 47+ (pedantic's -.-), meaning any attackers will be dealt with shortly, we do not attacked unless provoked, and are careful about scents, we will not risk the village for any animals/forageables unless given permission from e.g. village leader.

We are all well experienced through the game, and able to tame animals and do so effectively, we have had much live stock throughout the start of world 5, even if we do make new characters for your village, we will still be able to show skill.

If we do need to make new characters to acquire access to your village, it'll probably be just myself joining, whilst if we do hearth port to you, the number of us will range from about 4-6 depending on certain circumstances.

If you have any questions in my proposal or if you wish to see some of my friends character sheets, I will either transfer them through Skype, or through H+H forum PM, note: if you do request other members character sheets, I might not send them straight away as I will ask permission before revealing them

My Statistics:
Values
Strength 31
Agility 17
Intelligence 18
Constitution 17
Perception 33
Charisma 15
Dexterity 16
Psyche 12
Unarmed Combat 14
Melee Combat 11
Marksmanship 47
Exploration 36
Stealth 15
Sewing 13
Smithing 18
Carpentry 23
Cooking 16
Farming 30
Survival 27

Personal Beliefs
Nature 5
Life 5
Civil 0
Night 3
Martial -5
Change 5

(I own every skill in game).

Thank you for your time.

Also, some of our best skills are around 180 farming, 160 strength, (once had 220 marksmanship, until raided).

What I'll arrange (should have posted before): obviously me and my friends arent just going to take our main accounts straight to some random peoples village, which is why one / two of us will 'scout' your village for a little while, make sure your offer is pure, just as we do not want to be killed as soon as we turn up. :)

Uhu? Anyway, you promise to 'deal with any attackers shortly' with 50 mm? Good luck.

I probably will not be able to handle an attacker myself, but with one more frined and 100q+ sling, we can machine-sling a target down, we will then decide whether to kill him or just leave him unconsious.

I don't know about your friends, but your stats are pretty crappy. I'm not even sure how having murder/vandal can be considered "high level".

Good luck finding a village though.

I understand that my levels are not high to some people, but they may be considered high to others, like people without murder/vandal, anyway, i can use my h+h character for other jobs, like plowing for house space, tending to animals, things that dont require levels maybe. not argueing, just trying to show my worth :)

"Machine sling"...if only you knew how mms worked.

Well, anyway good luck with finding a town. I am sure you will make a decent fighter, but asking specifically for high level villages when you yourself are pretty much a newb might be the wrong approach.

i use the term 'machine sling' loosely as a quick weapon for fighting weak-armoured foes,

also when I say high-levelled i mean higher than my own level, i.e. well in metal age, not quite at brickwall stage, corrections will be made.

Your Character Profile page doesnt work (no permission), kind of useless to link it in signature? Grats on finding a village

I'm guessing you have been hermiting so far based on the stat diversity.
