by warfareman » Wed Aug 17, 2011 9:55 pm From being attacked in a newly form villages I helped construct with people I bet in game, wherein this attack all but 1 other died, and all but myself quit the game.
To leaving the ruins of this village with newly recruited friends from real-life, to get back to the same point in gameplay, and have the same thing reoccur.
As such, I've been simply sailing around and living as a hermit now for a short time.
Playing as a hermit isn't really much to my liking and so I've been trying and continue to try to find a village or group of players to join.
I'm very much looking towards going down the hunting/farming route of things, although eventually I would like to have an alt account for mining and such.
I'm open to creating a new character if the potential for success with it is reasonable, otherwise I would like to continue using my current character.
As I've spend a large part of my time playing this game, running from attackers and doing tedious tasks to try and make progress, my skills are somewhat limited, but my best values are:
Marksmanship: 50
Exploration: 40
Farming: 60
I have the essential skills and at the current time a reasonable amount of LP to spend, however due to my hermit situation I want to save this until such a time as I know what I'll be doing in village life, and can invest in anything that will be helpful.
I live in Ireland, and I'm 17, currently still a student, but on top of this I work two jobs at a nightclub and a local engineering firm. Despite this, I still do set aside a reasonable amount of time to relax and do what I want, my playing times will tend to be a few hours on a saturday afternoon, I have almost every sunday free, and during the week maybe half an hour in mornings and an hour, possibly two in evenings. Playing habits do really depend on my work rotas, which are beyond my control and change every week.
